Hi friends! There’s a fun Instagram hop happening today featuring lots of inspiration using the gorgeous new Altenew September 2024 release. It’s filled with beautiful holiday products and even more spectacular cardstock colors that perfectly match the array of ink colors in the Altenew Fresh Dye Ink line! I didn’t receive the cardstock in time to create my projects, but I have since received it and, good gracious, it is utterly luscious.
I have created three projects using the new goodies from this release! I just wanted to share them quickly here. It’s a super busy month, so if you have questions, feel free to email me! They’re fairly straightforward. I have linked all of the products that I used in the link list at the end of the post.
How fun is the new Scandinavian Tag die? It fits a gift card perfectly! You could tuck cash or a gift card inside the pocket, then add it to a bottle of wine or adorn the front of a gift back with it!
The new Timeless Sentiments 3 dies use that bold and chunky font that is so popular right now. I am a sucker for a beautiful font!! I embellished the Festive Greenery embossing folder with the Sparkled Frame and a bold greeting, accenting everything with some sparkles and a pretty bow!
Finally, I used the gorgeous new Cardinal Love set with the Berry Branch die. This is the prettiest combination; the scale of the two different dies work beautifully together! I ran a panel of letterpress cardstock through my die cutting machine using the Essential Textures: WoodPress Plate and Pink Sand Fresh Dye Ink to create a subtly textured and patterned background for my holiday scene. The sentiment is from the new Pocket Sentiments, heat embossed on Velvet cardstock using Altenew Rose Gold embossing powder. Finally, I embellished the card front with another pretty bow and some sparkling gems!
